Question:
During an examination of my conscience, I asked God:
“I know I have many sins but what is the sin that I must fess up to?”
God’s answer:
You don’t say “I am sorry” to Me.
Meaning: When I do something wrong,
I apologize to the person I offended or chastise myself.
What I don’t do is to say, at that moment, “God, I am sorry.”
God’s statement on what “I am sorry” means
It is a sincere promise to never do something again because you know it is wrong.
The idea that if we confess our sins we are forgiven,
we can go and commit the same sin again, and just confess them again is ludicrous.
Question:
What makes for a good confession?
God’s answer:
Honesty
Question:
When we do wrong to others, why is that a sin against You?
God’s answer:
Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto Me.
(Matthew 25:40)
Meaning: We are the living Spirit of God, the I am. So, God lives within us.
